Great Success in Beaufort West!
During December 2011 Stars in their Eyes hosted another ´World Coaches´ progranm in the Central Karro - this time in Beaufort West.
Delegates were identified from various communities in this region, and participated from communities such as Beaufort West (3),Laingsburg (3), Prins albert (3), Murraysburg (3), Leeu Gamka (4), Nelspoort (3), Merweville (3), Carnavon (4) and Loxton (4).
The course venue as well as training fields were arranged with the local SAFA representatives, and accommodation of the delegates was arranged at the Wagon Wheel Motel.
200 local children partcipated in the practical trainings and the final day tournament.
International lecturers Nico Labohm (Netherlands) and Salim Ali and David Ouma (Kenya) were responsible for the course content, and they were supported by Stars-instructors Elton Hart, Desiree Ellis, Ricardo Phillips, Martin van Wyk and Ricardo Kock.

Each day consisted of 5 sessions. Breakfast was followed by theory in lecture room, and thereafter a practical session on the field. Then it was lunch, followed by a theory session in the lecture room, and thereafter a practical session on the field (with children). After time out for dinner, delegates participated in lifeskills training at the accommodation venue.
The course was visited at various intervals by local politicians and business people, and everybody agreed that this course should be followed up with an advance training in the near future.
